Met Up With My German Friend



 Hey, Gengs! I'm back here after a few months :D What's up? And how's your day been so far? Hope y'all who read my blogs are happy and healthy :) 
 So, at this time I will tell you my experience about my story flight to Europe. The country I will visit is of course Germany, as the title of this blog. My purpose in creating this blog is to share my personal experience. I hope my experience can be useful for the readers, especially you. Enjoy your read!

As you know, I have a friend from Germany. She's from Alsdorf, German. Alsdorf is a municipality in the district of Aachen, in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. I met her in 2022 on social media. We've known for a year and text each other. We exchange messages with each other. We share our stories with each other. Even our times are different.
We had a dream that we'd meet someday and I decided to met her, yeay! So, I met her on July 31st. You know that I'm from Semarang and I should go to Jakarta first. Before that, I've prepared my visa a month ago. I packed my things and ready to go. I came to Ahmad Yani airport in Semarang. I flew to Semarang-Jakarta it took 1 hour and 15 minutes. My flight to Jakarta was on July 29th and I slept temporarily at my cousin's house. He picked me up and drove me to the airport.

I came again to the airport 5 hours before the flight. I entered the airport and went through the security check, if I had any dangerous objects I would be arrested. After that, I checked in and take the boarding pass card from the attendant. I showed my passport, residence card and ticket during immigration at the airport. Then, I looked for my gate and wait for the flight. While I wait I texted with my friend give her my situation. Then, I looked my number seat. Oh, before that I showed my ticket before I entered the plane. My flight started at 12.40am and I had to transit at Dubai International Airport for 3 hours. I arrived at 5.30am and it took 7 hours and 50 minutes.

That was my first time I transit in Dubai. The view is beautiful. I did transmigration again,then my passport and my visa were checked by attendant.
Attendant: Good morning. Can I see your passport and visa?
Passenger: Here you are.
Attendant: Thank you very much. Are you a tourist or here on business?
Passenger: I'm a tourist.
Attendant: That's fine. Have a pleasant stay.
Passenger: Thank you.
After checked in, baggage claim and looked for directions to baggage claim. Of course, I looked for my next gate.

I waited in waiting room and ate the food I got during the flight. It wasn't take a long time. Just took a few minutes and after that I continued my flight to Germany! I slept during my flight and I didn't realize that I got meal from the air hostess. My flight from Dubai to Germany took 6 hours and 55 minutes almost 7 hours hahaha. I arrived in Dusseldorf, Germany and before Ieft the airport, my passport had to be checked at that time and I had to pick my baggage too. That was tiring me and I called my friend if I already arrived so she was on her way to picked me up. Just took 1 hours 2 minutes from her house. I saw her for the first time and I amazed and we were happy at that time! 

So, Gengs! That's my experience and my flight story how I met my German friend. It was so tiring me up and it was okay because I was happy and was my first time I came to Germany! Thanks for reading my flight story.. see you next blog!
